Promoting Advancement in Surveying and Mapping

New ACSM Office, same address

We have moved. Our address does not change because the new ACSM office is in the same building as before, and our suite number moved with us. The move happened in mid-May, and, as the photo above shows, staff are very happy with their attractive, albeit compact, office.
Bob Church, Executive Director of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association, visited ACSM shortly after the move with an "office warming" gift. The gift, which now occupies a place of honor in the ACSM Executive Director's office, is a miniature of the Lincoln the Surveyor statue commissioned by IPLSA for Springfield, Illinois, where Lincoln once lived and worked as a surveyor.
Since Bob's visit, other members made a stop at Suite 403, 6 Montgomery Village Avenue, Gaithersburg, Md, including past NSPS presidents Gary Curtis and John Fenn. Come and see where the day-to-day life of your organizations takes place. The staff you will meet are, from the right on the photo at the top of the page, Trisha Milburn, Cheryl Baird, Pat Canfield, and Ilse Genovese. Lee Canfield, who was out during our "new office photo-op," is the fifth staff serving members of AAGS, CaGIS, GLIS, and NSPS out of the new ACSM office.
